David E. Gardels. David Gardels has been a partner in the Omaha office of Husch Blackwell since 1998 practicing in the areas of Corporate Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions and Investment Services. David is a leader of the firm’s renewable energy practice, and represents public and private renewable energy companies in all phases of project development and financing. David's renewable energy projects include ethanol, biodiesel and renewable natural gas and energy efficiency technologies for these industries. David also represents borrowers and lenders in substantial lending and structured finance transactions. David also has a substantial investment services practice, and has represented public and private investment funds, including both open and closed-end investment company complexes. David is on the Board of Directors of Opera Omaha. He has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Society of Corporate Secretaries and Governance Professionals and as an Advisory Board Member of its Rocky Mountain Chapter, the Nebraska Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth, Bishop and Trustees of the Episcopal Diocese of Nebraska and Trinity Episcopal Cathedral.
