Represent KPMG on the Transatlantic Business Council (TBC) Policy Committee where I had co-led the Capital Markets Working Group. Co-ordinated KPMG’s first Transparency Report and its position statement “Sustaining Confidence in Global Capital Markets.” Member of the City UK's International trade & Investment Group and co-ordinated arrangements for the 2006 Global Public Policy Symposium bringing together the world’s leading investors, regulators and audit firms. Secretary of the Indo-UK JETCO Accountancy Task Force (UK side) and member of London First Migration Advisory Group.Following a distinguished political and business career in the Labour Party culminating in serving as the party’s Assistant General Secretary, joined KPMG’s Public Services Consulting in 1999 where he led KPMG’s e-government team working on UK online and across the public and private sectors as well as authoring some leading research on readiness for e-government. A London Borough of Greenwich councillor from 2002-06 and again from May 2014, also serves as a governor at two London state schools (including time as Chair from 2008-10).
