Supporting the Sadara Project Director as an area project manager on this $20bn petrochem mega project. Sadara is a Saudi Aramco/Dow Chemicals joint venture to construct, own and operate a world-scale integrated chemicals complex, when completed it will represent the largest petrochemical facility ever built as a single phase integrated project.The waste treatment project team comprised 100+ engineering group (multidisciplinary and split between the UK and Philippines), Procurement and Project Controls resources to meet the Owners accelerated schedule for mechanical completion and facility start up. Of particular focus were two large ($70M ea.) thermal treatment units with their associated trains of heat recovery modules and flue gas scrubber systems.

In June 2011 I was appointed MD of the GTL and GTHL responsibilities as follows:-• Perform the role as Managing Director of both Genesys Telecommunications Holdings Limited and Genesys Telecommunications Limited and report to the Board on the performance of NRTS Project, including any contractual issues related thereto regarding the Project Agreement with the Secretary of State for Transport.• Prepare ad hoc reports as requested by the Boards • Represent the Company at Contract Review Board meetings and Monthly Project Progress meetings.• Act as the Company’s interface to the Client on non financial matters.• Take the lead in any negotiations relating to the Project Agreement between the Secretary of State for Transport and Genesys Telecommunications Limited. • Oversee and manage the performance and discharge by Project Co and Hold Co of their obligations, and enforcement of their rights, under the Project Documents and other contract documents including liaison with the Funder’s Technical Advisor or advise otherwise

Expected to be a significant number of communications towers, S&T rooms and associated facilities across the Country the project is taking place in.• Construction and Permanent Security systems (CCTV, Access Control etc. for all project facilities• Nautical and Aeronautical radio systems, plus Navigation aids and weather monitoring stations• Fire detection systems for construction and permanent facilities• In-country data centre and back-up/DR facilities for permanent operationsAll Contract and Procurement package development, bid evaluation, commercial negotiation, RFA development and post award implementation management.Responsibility for negotiations with the national Government and it’s agencies with respect to any permits or authorities. This includes land acquisition for facilities and radio frequency permitting.
