As Visitor Experience Manager my role is to champion the experience of every visitor to The Hepworth in Wakefield. I shape and manage the visitor experience and to drive and deliver excellence in customer service via the visitor experience team so that visitors get the most out of their visit and are inspired to return.

Chesterfield Care Group has been a source of friendship and company for the residents of Chesterfield for over four decades. In my role as a trustee I work with the charity to find new funding and development opportunities and use my experience in the arts to find links between arts and health in the sector.

I currently lecturer on the introductory module of the MA Film Curation course at Leeds Beckett University. This module introduces students to curatorial practice, cinema and festival curation, audience development, programme diversity and an introduction to using archive film.

I produce 'Legends of the Spire', a podcast that interviews ex-players of Chesterfield Football club. The podcast was created by myself and all production, interviewing and editing is done by myself. I have interviewed nationally known players such as Steve Ogrizovic and Bob Wilson and have gained thousands of views and downloads on YouTube and podcasting platforms.My skills include producing, hosting and audio/visual editing. I have good knowledge of podcast hosting and distribution via various platforms.The podcast won the Bronze award in the 'Best in Non-League - podcast' category at the 2021 Football Content Awards.

Q&A Host for film events with directors, actors and writers. These guest have included Chris Morris, Clio Barnard, Henry Normal, Harry Wootliff, Jessica Hynes and Dai Bradley (Kes)

Watching, discussing and voting on film submitted to to the British Independent Film Awards for selection. This is a voluntary position and takes place every year.

I work in Film and Events programming and Cinema management at Square Chapel Arts Centre (Halifax) and The Old Courts (Wigan). Duties include contracting exhibition agreements with studios and independent film distributors, negotiating agreements with content delivery providers, setting up reporting for CommScore and managing of Satellite equipment, LANsat and Movie Transit hardware.Weekly tasks include all cinema programming, booking films with distributors, working with advertisers re advertising content, ordering posters and marketing materials, writing copy and marketing, ingesting content, scheduling films, reporting to Comscore, sending financial returns to distributors and resolving technical issues with projectors and hardware.I also enjoy a key role developing audiences, especially disability groups and the BAMER community to increase audience diversity and inclusivity.I also curated and devised the first Up North Film & Television Festival that took place in May 2019 and included guests such as Brian Blessed, Chris Morris, Kay Mellor, John Shuttleworth and The Orielles. Festival and curated programming has also included seasons of Iranian, Pakistani and Japanese film and people like Barry Hines and Wilfred Pickles.

Film Programmer and Inclusive Cinema CoordinatorI managed the introduction of cinema at Square Chapel Arts Centre after the £6.6 million pound extension that opened in 2017. This included contracting exhibition agreements with studio and independent film distributors, negotiating agreements with content delivery providers, setting up reporting for CommScore and managing the introduction of Satellite equipment, LANsat and Movie Transit hardware.Weekly tasks included all cinema programming, booking films with distributors, working with Pearl and Dean re advertising content, ordering posters and marketing materials, writing copy and marketing, ingesting content, scheduling films, reporting to Comscore, sending financial returns to distributors and resolving technical issues with projectors and hardware.The Inclusive Cinema Coordinator role was a funded project through Film Hub North to engage new diverse audience groups. This worked with disability groups and the BAMER community in Calderdale to increase the diversity of our audiences and programming. I also curated and devised the first Up North Film & Television Festival that took place in May 2019 and included guests such as Brian Blessed, Chris Morris, Kay Mellor, John Shuttleworth and The Orielles.Sales ManagerAt Square Chapel Arts Centre I also managed a team of 7 paid Box Office staff and 7 volunteers. I integrated and managed the installation of our Spektrix Box Office System and card machine hardware through SagePay. I was in sole charge of by putting all shows on sales, reporting back to companies with financial returns, analysing audience data, creating offers and audience segmentation and reporting to the senior management and board with detailed sales and audience data. I also managed external plug-ins through the audience agency.

Processing sales and memberships through the Box Office system in person, over the phone and online. Also assisting in the management of the box office team which included information emails and rota. Chesterfield Venues consists of the 850 capacity Winding Wheel Concert Hall and 550 capacity Pomegranate Theatre.

Working from a studio at Yorkshire Artspace I exhibited all over the country and in Europe working on site specific work and contemporary art projects. Exhibitions included Smiling at people in Derby, Hugging strangers in Nottingham and sending my own signed photo to 1000 celebrities. Work was featured in press including The Metro, The Guardian and the Yorkshire Post.
