About David Garratt

Over 15 years of arts experience in cinema and event curation, operations management and festival planning.I am an experienced Q&A host for film screenings and have interviewed guests such as Chris Morris and Clio Barnard and have also been a voter for the British Independent Film Awards.I also produced, edited and published the award winning podcast and fanzine Legends of the Spire, about the cult heroes of Chesterfield FC, recognised at the 2021 Football Content Awards. I'm now studying towards a Master desgree in Sports History and Culture at De Montford University. I'm currently the Head of Operations and Visitor Services at The Hepworth Wakefield, recognised with a Gold Award from Visit England two years running, alongside working on other independent projects, my Masters studies, and acting as a trustee for Chesterfield Care Group.
