Career started as a engineering surveyor which allowed exposure to the early days of electronic data gathering and processing. Developed computer programmes for setting out on super-elevated transition curves with merging slip roads. Moved on to teach computer aided design on digital ground and digital design modelling software and went on to lead a design team on motorway major maintenance projects and Trunk road improvement schemes. When the CDM regulations came in I moved on to quality and health and safety whilst developing skills as a multi-market project manager eventually becoming a framework commission project director whilst Technical Director for health and safety. Moved out of commercial project delivery to manage the European region for safety, health, environment and quality before merging with CH2M HILL.Now looking at:Mapping and developing safety leadership programmes as the latest work stream providing business advantage.Experience in health, safety and wellbeing leadership of the European regional of an international organisation.Looking at business visioning linked to developing emotionally intelligent teams and setting the health and safety horizon 2020.
