Supervises, coordinates & produces maritime related force protection/disaster preparedness security surveys, plans & assessments such as ports & harbors, international airfields, assault zones & other key facilities worldwide for the purpose of developing improved tactics, techniques and procedures. Identifies all project activities, progress and deficiencies to the Maritime Targeting Division (MTD) Director.Serves as Command Liaison to worldwide U.S. Ambassadors, RSOs & related DoD intel agencies. Conducts meetings with and briefs govt. officials & senior business execs to research & develop plans and policies relating to maritime security.Directs & coordinates activities of personnel responsible for formulation, monitoring & presentation of budgets for controlling funds to implement program objectives. Directs compilation of data based on statistical studies and analyses of past & current years for yearly budgets and to justify future funds requested. Reviews operating budgets periodically to analyze trends affecting budget needs. Consults with unit heads to ensure adjustments are made in accordance with program changes in order to facilitate long-term planning. Administers personnel functions of budget department, such as training, work scheduling, promotions, transfers & performance ratings.
