Research on diseases of aging

As one of Gensler’s three CEO’s, I was responsible for the firm’s operational infrastructure, including Finance, Global Talent, Legal/Risk Management, Communications, Public Relations, Practice Area Marketing, Applications Development, Technology, Global Advisory, Design Practice, and Research. On a rotating basis with my Co-CEOs I had oversight over the firm's four main leadership communities: Offices, Practice Areas, Design and Delivery and Client Relationships. I also had oversight responsibility for the firm’s European, Middle Eastern, Asian and South American Regions. As a member of Gensler’s Board of Directors for 12 years, I was the Chairman of the Finance and Audit Committee and a member of the Executive Committee. At various times I also served as a member of the Global Practice Committee, the Practice Innovation Committee, the Talent and Compensation Committee and the Compliance Committee.
