As the Site Manager, I was mainly responsible for overseeing the production of goods and workforce. I made sure that the site was running well, with a smooth efficient operation that meets the expectations and needs of the organisation. My role had broad responsibilities but generally included monitoring and analysing the current system of production or provision to check its effectivity and working out a strategy for continuously improving.Other tasks involved liaising with team members, including interacting with managers of different areas of the organisation, presenting findings and results to stakeholders and higher management as well as mentoring employees and tracking and measuring performance.

My role as Regional Project Manager was to support the business and the wider operations group through the delivery of capital works projects. My role provided excellent project management capability and technical skills to support the overall strategy and project plan. I provided professional project management and project capability to the region whilst ensuring an ongoing focus on production, process efficiency and innovation. I identified project opportunities and led the development of solutions to deliver lower operating costs, lower maintenance costs, improved equipment reliability, with optimum product consistency and first pass quality. I supported the prioritisation of projects within the approved capital investment program.

My main role as a Regional Lean Facilitator was to lead improvement projects related to process and continuous improvement in the areas of quality, operations, productivity, and cost using Lean methodologies and tools. I played a lead role in process improvement projects by facilitating groups and teams, managing projects, monitoring for sustainability, presenting results and recommendations, and developing metrics and measurement tools to improve operating processes toward greater efficiency and effectiveness. I mentored staff in the development and utilisation of Lean methodologies and tools. I played a key role in the development of a Lean culture throughout region. I developed, led, and managed multiple projects, utilising common project management methodologies.

As a Plant Manager you are responsible for the day to day operational excellence of one of our facilities, overseeing the multi-disciplined team across production, engineering, safety and planning whilst running projects to implement the networks strategic plan. I was also responsible for improving efficiencies and delivering the highest quality product to customers.
