Experienced manager and fundraiser within the non-profit and community service field. The favourite part of my work is empowering and inspiring others to believe in themselves and their ability to be part of something bigger than themselves. I moved back home to the beautiful Hawke’s Bay in May 2019 and I am excited that I have been able to continue to serve with my skills, energy and passion with Fulfilled Fundraising, Citizens Advice Bureau Hastings, Budget First, and Impact Pro Wrestling Hawke's Bay.Prior to moving home I managed numerous teams, models and channels of fundraising from 2010. During this time I was able to significantly enhance the fundraising experience and acquisition quality with a focus on supporter needs and authentic conversation. My final role in this field before moving home was to pilot, recruit and manage an outbound telephone fundraising team, as well as create and manage a mid-level donor relationship management programme until both were stable and successful enough to hand over to other teams. I am now working with Fulfilled Fundraising to continue to enhance the fundraising experience by providing affordable lifetime access to the world's best fundraising coaches. I am currently managing the Hastings Citizens Advice Bureau as the sole full time staff member and my ability to be both a "people person" and a "process person" continues to be invaluable.I have also transferred these skills and experiences into the field of youth work. I have provided in-home youth work for young boys living in an Oranga Tamariki home. I have also delivered programmes that empower 16-18 year olds to advance in education, employment and training. This has furthered the diverse range of clients I have built relationships with and advocated for. I am currently developing and delivering a youth focused financial capability programme for BudgetFirst. In my limited spare time I am chairperson and head trainer for Impact Pro Wrestling Hawke's Bay.
