• Supervision over the self-performed and subcontractor installation of ballasted/DF trackwork and track slab on the Ottawa LRT Project:
• Advising of and assisting in design changes, RFIs, material and equipment acquisition.

• Maintained safe work procedures through the use of JHAs, PPE, and continuous housekeeping.
• Working with multiple hand and power tools, and signaling and rigging for various pieces of heavy equipment.
• Running daily safety and production meetings.

Alberta, Canada

• Involved in the track construction in the West LRT project for the City of Calgary, and the North LRT expansion in the City of Edmonton.
• Aided and supervised the construction of 6 diamond crossovers (one ballast track, five direct fixation) for multiple projects.
• Performed various work activities in the installation of DF and ballasted mainline track, including thermite welding.
• Responsible for leading a team of up to 12 workers without direct supervision.
• Assessing job priorities and assigning tasks to personnel.
• Regular assessment of existing and potential job hazards, and organization of daily safety meetings and coordination.
