Responsible for the 14-17 year old Scout provision in Hyndburn District. I am the line manager for the Explorer Scout Leaders of all Explorer Scout Units in the District, the Young Leader Section team, and the Duke of Edinburgh leaders. I manage policy with regard to recruitment, programme, integration, finance and co-operation between Units and the local Scout Groups.

Responsible for production engineering and test engineering functions for CRP's multiple buoyancy products.

Responsible for approximately 100 volunteer staff and 63 acres of campsite and activity equipment. During this role I drafted and began delivery of the first five-year development plan for the campsite, gaining financial autonomy for my newly-established management team to carry out their roles. I brought in a new online booking and invoicing system (OBELISk) which streamlined admin for our adminstrator. I delivered new facilities for the campsite and brought in new customers. I took on responsibility for budgets, gaining approval for expenditure annually from the Trustees. I promoted a corporate image with new signage, website, and other literature. I increased the number of volunteers onsite through providing benefits and information on campsite news and events. I promoted the campsite throughout the County and increased footfall from traditional visitors, schools, and even wedding parties.

A lead role in a successful and growing Scout Group, managing a volunteer team of up to 30 members, and responsible for the programme for over 100 young people.
