Dr. Getman is a Senior Research Operations Manager at Decision Information Resources, Inc. (DIR). He is skilled in the management of large scaled multi-mode (web/telephone/field) studies with low-income hard-to-reach populations. Dr. Getman has contributed to the development of data collection methodology in partnership with corporate partners such as MDRC. He develops clear and concise reports to gauge cross-site field productivity to better monitor site progress, establishes benchmarks for field managers, and troubleshoots site-specific issues. He has contributed to the hiring, training, and management of field and CATI interviewers conducting data collection for national research studies. Dr. Getman has performed qualitative analyses, risk assessment, and thematic coding; coordinated the logistics for multiple Technical Work Group meetings; and contributed to executive level summaries and final reports. He has contributed to outreach methodology design and the production of outreach materials for a number of studies, including the adaptive/responsive tailoring of those methodologies and materials to increase contact and response rates among particularly hard-to-reach populations, increase participant identification with studies and to mediate attrition over multi-wave longitudinal studies.

Wrote historical and political briefings tailored to stakeholder support needs including the assembly of on-line and printed reference materials.
