I've been in outside and inside sales along with warehouse management for 30+ years in which I've sold many different MRO items, hydraulic and pneumatic items new and repaired, and electrical items new and repaired. My work experience has included a broad gamut of industries covering territories throughout the southeast and also Illinois and Indiana. The majority of my career has been spent working in and around mining which includes underground and strip coal mining and also aggregate mining. I've also spent a lot of time in and around saw mills, steel mills, new car plants, and recycling plants. In sales, I've learned that you have to be as diverse as you can be. With the ebb and flow of the markets and even the changes in leadership in governments, to latch on to just one industry and depend on it as your only source of income or revenue can be a horrible mistake for both you and the company or companies you represent.
