Full responsibility for all areas of IT throughout this niche automotive manufacturer, developed and implemented a vision for the entire manufacturing operation at Ansty Park to create a connected factory operation that is truly state of the art, to support a state of the art vehicle.General Responsibilities include the Development of new systems, Operations, Strategy, Governance and critically IT Security, of all sites.All Major projects delivered on plan, to budget.Major Projects included:- The creation of a talented IT team, from 5 to 20 staff- The physical and logical network infrastructure, integration for a new greenfield site, 35000 Sqm, 120km of structured cabling, 14km of fibre, 150 network switches, over 100 WiFi Access Points- Conceptual design and integration with Volvo for vehicle software and after sales dealership diagnostics.- Definition, Development and and implementation of all shop floor MES systems to manage and control vehicle assembly and integrated PLC devices.- Delivery of Epicor ERP to provide a fully integrated vehicle order and control system, with necessary bespoke applications with enhanced vehicle configuration, MRP facilities and Supplier schedules via XML.- Delivery of Secondary Warehousing facility in Ryton 20,000Sqm, with full ERP Warehousing functionality.
