Currently looking after over 40 clients in a wide variety of industries. I engage consistently to ensure all working capital requirements are met and business requirements are exceeded.

Within AIB I specialise in assessing risk relating to Invoice Discounting. I currently look after a portfolio of over 60 clients from both the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland, and mainland Great Britain. I meet with Financial Directors, Financial Controllers, Book Keepers, and Managing Directors on a regular basis. I also engage daily with these clients assessing the risk they pose to the bank, whilst securing AIB's position by ensuring we have enough collateral to lend against. I also train clients in on the specifics of the Invoice Discounting agreement, how the facility will work, the requirements to fulfil the facility, and also train them regarding the online portal used to utilise the facility.I work closely with other teams on the floor, such as Audit and New Business to eliminate any risks that may occur at the new business stage or throughout the life span of the facility. I was also chosen to participate in a newly formed group which aimed to help make processes and day to day procedures more streamlined within the unit.

My duties included the management of staff on and off the shop floor. I organised the shift on a daily basis and assisted other members of the management team by organising the staff and completing other management functions such as planning and training. I ensured staff were aware of business level objectives and that they deliver on operational targets. I have excellent people skills having completed a customer care course for the organisation as well as a people training class for the area leader role. I am fully trained in every area. I was also entrusted with counting the cash and the safe, opening and closing the store, daily set up, and forecasting sales by looking at labour costs vs expected footfall.
