In my current role as Quality Control Inspector Maintenance / Supply. I have gained valuable experience working as a contractor with the US Government Depart of the Defence, Army. In the scope of my daily business as a Quality Control Inspector I have worked within several departments, working on process mapping and instructions for work. I have carried out audits to ensure that we as the contractor are honouring the performance work schedule set by the US Government. In my day to day schedule, I am responsible for overseeing the final product from the contractor to the US Government, passes the Quality Assurance inspection. I have a significant mechanical engineering background, gained from my time in service with the UK Armed Forces. I can do team management, working within a small section and able to operate under tight deadlines and fast changes circumstances. My current role requires me to carry out research for problem solving or solutions, which can be used to upgrade a work schedule, process map or overhaul a process, to ensure that maximum efficiency is achieved in the safest and most cost effective way. I have good communications skills, and effective leadership skills honed from my years in the Army. I am currently looking for new opportunities and willing to explore both the Supply and Mechanical Engineering fields.
