Saha Lab• Generating a drug inducible RNA splicing switch for chimeric antigen receptor T (CAR-T) cells to help attenuate the development of an exhausted phenotype• Responsible for designing and executing multiple gene editing experiments to engineer tissue specific T cells.• Present scientific findings and review relevant literature in weekly lab meetings.

THINK/June Lab• Worked with lab members to disrupt two inflammatory regulators Regnase-1 and Roquin-1 using CRISPR Cas9 in natural killer (NK) cells with the goal of improving antitumor capabilities and bolstering CAR-NK and other NK cell-based immunotherapies.• Responsible for expanding NK cell cultures and performing flow cytometry as well as other functional assays.

Iwanicki Lab• Worked with lab members analyzing specific genes that could be sites for inhibition within the myosin pathway. Specifically, I looked at how alpha V integrins were involved in the activation of the TGF-ß1 complex and then found inhibitors for this activation from previous literature• Responsible for reading literature and reporting on a weekly basis to other team members.

Drapkin Lab• Prepared experiments and analyzed data to understand the interaction between PAX-8 and SOX-17 and their role in tumor angiogenesis in cancers originating from fallopian tube secretory cells. • Responsible for periodic cell culture maintenance and various cell based assays • Observed multiple surgical procedures at the hospital of the University of Pennsylvania
