There, I led the content team for Toca TV, a brand new mobile SVOD for kids. Our team built a substantial content library, acquiring from leading digital video companies and independent creators, and developing and producing new animated and live action series. In 2011, Sesame Workshop formed the Content Innovation Lab, and I was tapped to join it. The Lab used emerging technology to build new kinds of educational experiences for kids. The lab also worked across other departments as interactive designers and advocates for using emerging technology to educate kids. In the Lab, I worked for the Creative Director to develop, design, and write interactive television. My other projects included creating concepts, prototypes, and content around augmented reality, intelligent manipulatives, multiple screens, voice recognition, text recognition, gestural control, tablets, and immersive content experiences optimized for preschoolers. In 2009, I joined Sesame Workshop’s Digital Media group, working for the department’s Creative Director and Head Writer. With the creative team, I developed, designed, and wrote interactive content for preschoolers. The projects spanned mobile platforms, game consoles, and the web.
