I started in the produce business working for my father turning onion sacks inside out when I was nine years old. From there I worked weekends and summers as a teen doing whatever job was thrown my way from sweeping the floors to driving a forklift working at South Bay Growers. After High School I worked more closely with South Bay Growers loading the trucks, quality control, field buying, and watching every move the sales people and bosses were making so I could one day do those jobs I dreamed of doing. After getting my feet on the ground with a sales position I opened my own produce company (Top Service Produce, Inc.) and the fun really started. I began to grow my business from the ground up. After 11 wonderful years I sold my company to a subsidiary of a fortune 50 company. Seven years after the birth of Top Service I started experimenting with greenhouses and growing hydroponically and I then opened TSP Farms. In the beginning we grew summer squash, okra, pickling cucumbers, and colored bell peppers. Later we narrowed our commodity's to Holland Seed Colored Bell Peppers and I couldn't have been more proud of the beautiful and tasty peppers we grew. I have worked with retailers through out the USA and Canada and I look forward to working with new folks in the Produce Industry as we all move forward together in our new adventures.
