David became the Managing Director of Buttermilk Confections Ltd in March 2010. Having worked in all areas of the business, his current role includes overseeing the production and operations of the business as well as working on the commercial side and future planning. The Buttermilk Confectionary Company is currently celebrating it's 50th Anniversary and has recently acquired new premises in Bodmin in order to fulfill the expansion needs of their growing business. Their award-winning fudge has won numerous Taste of The West and Great Taste Awards. Buttermilk currently have three shops in Padstow, Port Isaac and Boscastle supplying their own branded products as well as having a rapidly growing business in white-labelled luxury butter fudge confectionery.

David joined Wallace Whittle in 2008 as the lead Senior Mechanical Design Engineer on prestigious projects such as the Dorchester Hotel, the Olympic Village and Grosvenor House.As a Senior Engineer he was managing projects, leading a team of engineers working to tight deadlines, meeting with clients and their design teams.
