I am currently seeking permanent placement as an electrical engineer. I would like to combine the fields of biology, materials, optics, acoustics and nano- or micro-technology to more efficiently and seamlessly integrate with the world we live in, how we process the signals we receive and to develop novel devices which implement this information. My time is currently divided between working at Accenture, teaching at Riverside Community College and College of the Desert (Desert Community College District), running my own business, research (biology, chemistry, optics, acoustics, video/audio signals), raising three children (all born after Mid 2012) and being a better husband.I received a Master of Science in electrical engineering (MSEE) from the University of California, Santa Cruz (UCSC) in December 2015. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering (BSEE) from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) in June 2004.Immediately after graduating from UCSD, I was offered a position with the California Institute of Telecommunications and Information Technology (Cal IT2). I primarily worked with embedded systems, circuit design and programming.I later worked for Viasys Healthcare (which has since become CareFusion) between 2005 and 2006. I began as a Technician testing the AVEA ventilator. Later, I was promoted to Engineering Technician and tasked with testing and repairing malfunctioning circuit boards and equipment for the VELA ventilator line.On June 12th, 2016 I walked at the 2016 UCSC Baskin School of Engineering (BSOE) commencement which was the same day our youngest child became five months old.I have experience programming in Assembly, Java, C/C++, Matlab, Python, Verilog and VHDL. I have CAD experience with different software suites: MEMS design and testing, nanostructure design and testing, 3D modeling for graphics and 3D printing, circuit design, testing and manufacturing. I have volunteered in audio and video production and in other projects with Linux Astronomy.

Sole ProprietorInerac Jul 2002 - PresentAfter my third year of undergraduate study at UC San Diego I took the fall quarter off. At this time I began working for myself on the many side jobs I would acquire. Side jobs were anything from: gardening for my father's business, assisting my father’s business with accounting, computer programming, video-game console/cellphone/tablet repair, computer repair, computer assembly, network repair/maintenance/install, tv repair/setup, home audio/video repair/setup/install, janitorial, home care, audio recording/production/engineering, customer service, sales/marketing, tutoring, stocking/inventory, construction, general labor, banquet service, and cashier. I have worked many odd jobs so I do not recall all the titles for the tasks given. In 2016, I was to repair a Sony MHC-GX450 3-Disc CD Shelf System with Game Sync that was displaying a "Mecha Error." I removed the error, but then the CD-tray would go into a loop when cycling the CDs from disc 1-to-2 or 2-to1. I proceeded to modify the CD-tray to remove the possibility of looping. After, I began focusing on computer and networking/IT services for about 5 tax preparation companies.
