Here, I serve as the scientific lead for mass spectrometry-based large biomolecule analysis in the Discovery BioA space. I am tasked with both method development and data review for such studies, while also serving as the main point of contact for clients. In this role, I developed both discovery and GLP-validated methods for the quantification of small molecules within a wide variety of biological matrices, from urine and plasma to tissues. These assays generally employed LC-MS/MS using triple quadrupole mass spectrometry as the analytical platform. In addition to this small molecule work, I served as a subject matter expert for large biomolecule analysis, and pioneered the operation of high-resolution, accurate-mass (HRAM) mass spectrometry for these analyses within the company.
