Working in the corporate controlling team of the host entity for France Telecom group activity based in the UK. Providing financial support and control to functional teams including Strategic Marketing, Brand Management, IP Protection and IT Infrastructure. Key responsibilities included the financial management of the global franchise fee process (36 entities in 32 countries), accounting for global sponsorship contracts and the rebranding of newly acquired entities to the Orange brand.

Working in the corporate controlling team of the host entity for France Telecom group activity based in the UK. Responsible for the timely and accurate accounting of group financial statements ensuring compliance with accounting standards and FT Group CoA. Cash Flow reporting with variance analysis and commentary as well as providing daily support to the Finance Business Partners and Financial Controller including preparation of board meeting financial presentations.

Principle point of contact working within the Shared Service Centre of Orange UK providing financial reporting and consolidation support to the Corporate Controlling Team based in London. Budget and Actual responsibility for P&L finance costs, depreciation/amortisation and all balance sheet activity.

Responsible for the continued update and maintenance of the fixed asset register including finance lease accounting, attending site audits and follow up analysis and month end provision calculation. Pro-actively re-designed the fixed asset disposal process ensure accurate and timely disposals of £150m assets per year resulting in a large reduction of provisions and "lost assets".

After successfully completing my own basic training where I was awarded Best Recruit, I returned to the training regiment just a few weeks later to join the training team in molding the next batch of recruits into soldiers. Whilst my time in the Army was short, I have a lot of great experiences and achievements to be proud of and take forward into my future endeavors.
