I was part of a three man DoD team bridging the large gap to introduce a new solution and a new way of thinking about security to the DoD, a relatively green territory for Fortinet. I grew the business every quarter in my territory with deal sizes up to $500K (and meeting my revenue goals) while creating a solid pipeline for several $1M+ deals.

Check Point acquired NFR in December of 2006. After a successful first year (exceeding target) on the Federal team at Check Point, I decided to try again for a small startup company.

NFR was my first foray into the world of sales. I was the second Sales Engineer they ever hired, and was quickly promoted to VP of Sales Engineering. After traveling the globe, expanding NFR's reach, I transitioned to an Account Manager position, focusing on our Federal customers, where I repeatedly hit my goals year after year.

Began life on the help desk out of college and was quickly promoted through the ranks at Arthur Andersen. I managed the server infrastructure and network for Arthur Andersen's mid-Atlantic region, which included 5 offices, managing and mentoring employees in each of those offices. I oversaw (and performed much of the work) in modernizing their network from Bay Networks to Cisco, implementing many new technologies along the way, creating a modern, easily managed, network.
