Behaviour Support Specialist, assisting people with Autism or an intellectual disability to regain control of their behaviours, life and aspirations. Using the three disciplines of Social Work, Psychology and Behavioural Science, I utilize a holistic lens. I examine the persons home, school, and interpersonal life to explore the function of their behaviours. Using this information I find ways of meeting the need in an equivalent but safer way, enhancing coping/tolerance skills, decreasing triggers and mismatches, and improving their quality of life.As the director I offer therapists partnerships, fair pay, and the support network to be able to thrive in delivering positive behaviour support. Only those with the strongest drive to impact others lives are selected for positions.

Conducted research into individualised funding legislation, practice and global lessons to create an effective model for change for Sacred Heart Mission. Interviewed successful agencies, researchers and clients to further develop the ‘recipe for successful transition’ into 'Consumer Directed Care' legislation. Ran seminars assisting in cultural, pragmatic, cognitive, networking and cost efficiency changes. Conducted Qualitative research to extract in employee's own words their ideas for creatively moving into this new legislation.I mapped key players within the new system and extracted contacts such as the creator of the overarching legislation. I formed new alliances with the company Community chefs who agreed to subsidise all meals for clients as well as arranging for Uber to form its biggest charity agreement in Australia with Sacred Heart Mission.

Worked in a psychosocial team delivering trauma therapy to children and teenagers. Worked to enhance coping strategies, emotional expression and feelings of safe attachment. Concurrently worked in 64 communities developing nutrition programs for malnurished families.Established an self sustaining income generating program with the potential to generate over $100,000 dollars a year to support the orphanage.

Role: Engaging clients prerelease from prison, working with courts/justice department and clients to devise workable plans for reintegration.
