Sky Media is one of the UK’s largest sales houses, looking after 100 channels including their own sports, entertainment and movie channels. As well as their many channel partners including Viacom, Nat Geo and FOX. Sky as a larger company is one of the UK’s leading television and internet providers.In my time at Sky Media as I have worked as a Sales Assistant on Blue 449 (previously Walker Media), as a Sales Executive on accounts for P&G and Unilever and agencies Initiative and UM. And now as a Sales Manager over the Opera agencies, OMD, MGM, PHD and Hearts & Science.During my time here I have worked on clients a large array of clients including Supermarkets, Bookmakers, Automobiles and many many more.My job entails managing teams to work on agencies campaigns, making sure to deliver campaigns monthly and yearly, effectively managing our agency deals. Deal negotiations are another key part of my role. Discussing and agreeing deals with agencies over their clients.I also work closer with our finance departments making sure everything is billed correctly and dealing with any queries they may have. I'm also responsible for working closer with agencies and keeping in contact via email phone calls or meetings with their buyers to make sure I'm aware of their struggles and pressures and helping them to do there job. As well as looking for advertising opportunities between them and our company. Whether that be upselling our properties or helping them to approve and run effect campaigns

Trader Media Group in Ireland deal with advertising for advertising cars throughout the Republic Of Ireland. They look after Ireland’s leading autos sales magazine, the Autotrader, and their website. And also look after the no. 1 car selling website, Carzone.ie. Responsibilities:- Dealing with account queries regarding car dealers and their on running accounts with us. Dealing with them as much as possible before passing on to accounts if need be.- Starting point for tech support from car dealers who would contact us about problems they had regarding software used. Again would help as much as possible and pass onto necessary person if needs be.- Would also deal with private sellers, helping them to place and edit ads on our websites.- Worked on the implementing and putting live of digital display ads on our websites. Using Ad servers to put them live and work with sales team to monitor report and invoice campaigns.- Working as support for the sales team to help them with any information they needed to help them sell. As well as helping them to keep clients happy with anything they needed done.- I also was in a strong position to help train new people. Because of my strong knowledge of the different roles, I was helping to new people who came on board to help them do their job effectively.
