I am a 43 year broadcast veteran. I began my career in 1978 at a small commercial radio station in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. I made the leap to pubic radio in 1984 when my alma mater's campus radio station hired me as part of their new professional staff. I have lived in the south, the midwest and the far west in the course of my radio career, following the opportunities as they arose. I know how to manage people, I have raised millions of dollars for my stations and I sound great on the air.
