Solely responsible for the clients permit to work system and integration of fit out works for 20 Fenchurch Street, London

Responsible for a team of operatives, controlling the buildings permit system for various tenants and landlords works

Due to the nature of my position I interact with high level clients with in BP right through to external contractors.I was recruited to implement and manage the health and safety welfare of our technical team and external contractors within our London portfolio, including support to the technical services team.During the time within this role I have overseen and been the main point of contract for various construction works within the portfolio including issue of high level permits and contractor management.My role has also included the training and delivery of an in house permit system from BP (RAP) and the design of a training matrix to audit site personal.Key Responsibilities:• Assist in the control of works management of a multidisciplinary team of personal, comprising of building services engineers, additional clerk of works, facilities coordinators, plus the FM supply partners delivering catering, security & mail services.• Develop & action all aspects of health and safety - review, audit and implementation, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and clients own elevated H&S expectations. Produce, review and ensure compliance with company safe systems of work, risk assessments and method statements, including COSHH data sheet reviews • Assist with client representative on location. Manage expectations of building users at all levels on all property related issues. • To assist in recruitment and staff development.• Authorised Person for permit to work activity. Prepare and deliver tool box talks, Health and Safety stand downs and team briefs, including consultation for various works. • To identify and manage the delivery of project activity.• Engage and manage specialist third party contractors.• Ensure required number of audits are completed by fm team • Ensure that any lessons are learned from the audits above • Promote project quality / value in ensuring project schedules are met and quality maintained. The main role was to deliver a high standard of service to Bp at the Global Headquarters in London, including contractor management and delivery of work in good time. The position included reaching the position of electrical Approved Person (including HV) and Confined Space AP.Key Responsibilities:• Reactive building maintenance.• Issuing work permits to contractors• Complete planned maintenance to schedule. • To ensure all work is carried out on time to ensure no inconvenience to client.

This role required me to take control of the Kent area and maintain cell sites for O2; including P1 and P2 reactives this also included maintaining Airwave (emergency services) sites. The work included various administration responsibilities including maximo input and writing method statements and risk assessments and, carrying out general surveys on the cell sites. Key Responsibilities:• To maintain the continued operation of O2 and Airwaves cell sites within the Kent area.• To maintain AC split units, alarm systems and electrical systems within cell sites. • To respond to emergency call outs within agreed SLA.• To allow by appointment any access to the cell sites and safeguard client equipment. • To ensure compound accesses were clear to enter at all times. Various electrical industrial and commercial contracting work in which time gained Inspection, Testing & Certification of Electrical Installations Level 3(2391) and regarded Approved Electrician

Repairing industrial and public maintenance jobs including maintenance at Sittingbourne and Kemsley Paper mill, the responsibilities were installing sensors and repairing, Inspection lights on machines, also had other various work including working in the Pfizer's Complex (Sandwich).
