I am a Communication Consultant and currently work for Oxford PharmaGenesis.Previously, I worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Southampton. I had the opportunity to learn about regenerative medicine within a renowned research group (Bone & Joint) headed by Prof Richard OC Oreffo, and work with skeletal stem cells for bone tissue engineering.I was responsible for both time management and the direction of my research. Throughout my work I maintained meticulous records of all findings which I continually discussed with colleagues to expand on interpretations and ensure new research avenues were not overlooked. I took responsibility of keeping up to date with current literature and incorporated relevant information into my work. Part of my research also involved problem solving skills and biostatistics.My teaching and training experience ranges from undergraduate to doctorate level, including summer placement student projects, BMedSc, MPharm, MSc and PhD students. This includes responsibility for time management, course assessment, student safety, laboratory training and research design. At times I have been responsible for several students, both in the laboratory and during graduate group sessions whilst fulfilling the role of facilitator.I am a dedicated, hard-working and persevering individual, keen to advance my professional career. I work well either independently or within groups. I have participated in group-organised charitable events and arranged social events for colleagues to help create a fun and healthy working environment. I am easy to approach and would relish any opportunity to both share my knowledge and gain that of others.
