David also holds a teaching degree and both the UEFA "A" License and an MSc in High Performance Coaching whilst also benefiting from Non league, college, professional and International football coaching and management experience.David is experienced as an elite coach, UEFA coach educator / mentor, football development officer and non lge academy director with an elite youth development background. David spent 4 years working in US youth soccer when he first got to the USA and now has an excellent understanding of the US youth Soccer landscape. In the 2017 season coaching at FC Kansas City in the NatIonal Women's Soccer League (NWSL) as assistant coach. Having also spent the 2016 season as Volunteer Assistant with Razorbacks Soccer. David was part of consecutive teams to reach both the SEC Conference Final and the NCAA Tournament. (2016 & 2017). In 2018 David founded www.theproplayer.com the first and only service of its kind in the world primarily aimed at providing high performance support environments around aspiring female players and female professionals alike. From 2020-2022 David was the assistant coach of the Jamaica National Women’s football Team, striving for qualification for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo and aiming to become one of the top 3 nations in CONCACAF. In August 2021 David accepted the challenge from OU after he became the Assistant Women’s Soccer Coach at the University of Oklahoma, in the Big 12. OU had its best season in 8 years in 2022 beating #11 ranked TCU on route to a Big 12 Semi Final match. David significantly contributed to delivering the best recruiting class in OU history - back to back #1 recruiting classes in the big 12 (2023 and 2024).
