Got a start in applying my studies in Human Physiological and Biomechanical instrumentation systems at Western Australian Institute of Sport. Working as a Technical Officer in the sport science lab, I was able to spend over a decade working with small signal acquisition and calibration instrumentation for a variety of physical systems.Pulled up stumps in Australia to give living in Norway a go. Landed in the Test Engineering role for Autonomous Monitoring and Control systems on L and VL shipping. My focus was on development of automated testing, beginning with the onboard auxiliary systems. Expanded coverage then to the new configuration system to fast track the project design of the ship’s unmanned and assisted software installation.Held a Test developer position at Scandinavia’s largest Telematics company after 4years working with various levels of IoT testing and developing the internal test process.Recently finished working with the hi tech startup for ferry solutions in the congested city. Model and Simulation based development and testing: from the concept to turnkey trials. And now I’m back in the Kongsberg Group, where I began the Norwegian adventure.Every day should be a day to learn something new. Over the last 20+ years I’ve implemented a wide range of test strategies on targets from athletic beasts to intelligent machines to big data and networked processes.
