My work focuses on the needs of 250 international scholars at UNLV. I apply for H-1B visa status for incoming international staff and employess and serve as the head of the Exchange Visitor Program at UNLV. I advise our scholars and ensure that all scholars remain in legal immigration status, and that they receive the support they need to succeed professionally, academically, and personally.

To support Grand Canyon National Park and to address environmental concerns that affect the Park and its surround area. As Grand Canyon Program manager I was the architect of a successful effort to remove 1.2 million acres in the watersheds around the Park from mineral entry - protecting much of the Park from the effects of Uranium mining.

The focus of the organization to was to conserve wildlife and wildlife habitat, advocate for sound, science based wildlife management policies, and represent the interests of hunters, anglers, campers and others who value wildlife and the outdoors..

I helped put together the UN program to remove uncleared land mines. I served as an Office Director in the Department of Humanitarian Affairs MCPU, and then as a consultant for the UN and UN agencies including UNDP, UNICEF, UNHCR, UNOCHA, and various NGOs including CARE. I worked in 21 countries helping plan and put together mine action programs.
