Implemented eDocument process and re-designed handoff process to manufacturing to create cleaner, more efficient transition from development to production. Worked with key supplier to drive new tooling manufacturing process, resulting in a $3 million cost avoidance.

Greensboro, Nc

Tested and implemented a new manufacturing method, reducing the cost of the final product by approximately five dollars per thousand labels produced by eliminating the need for outsourced material. This resulted in a savings for the company of approximately $750,000 per year. Developed and implemented a new material into existing processes, netting another savings for the company of approximately $1,000,000 per year as well as improving throughput for two processes by 300% and 50%, respectively. Guide new product initiatives through the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) new product stage-gate process in order release for full-scale production. Test new product designs to ensure they meet customer demands as well as Avery Dennison standards. Analyze data sets to determine costs and benefits of new products and processes, as well as to find potential areas of improvement in our processes. Work closely with production teams in Central America and Asia to share best practices and implement systems that improve output and efficiency and better control quality of RFID products and processes.
