ICURN is the global association for credit union supervisors over 40 jurisdictions. It provides training, peer reviews, policy/research support and develops guiding principles for credit union supervisors. Its board is comprised of senior financial cooperative supervisors from central banks and supervisory agencies around the world.As Executive Director, and co-founder, I lead ICURN's policy development, technical assistance activities and fundraising. ICURN has members from 6 continents and every major financial cooperative system.

* Developing credit union leaders and advising central banks on behalf of the International Monetary Fund, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, UKAid, USAID, European Union/GIZ. * Advised national credit union associations in the United States (CUNA), United Kingdom, Australia, Thailand and Barbados on regulatory challenges and restructuring.* Leading financial sector development strategies for the World Bank/Asian Development Bank in Egypt, Paraguay, Uganda, Zambia, Azerbaijan, Myanmar and Eswatini.* Our clients include International Monetary Fund, World Bank, Gates Foundation, United Nations, Credit Union Associations, Asian Development Bank, Filene Research Institute, CGAP, Alliance for Financial Inclusion, Center for Financial Inclusion, ICURN and many central banks.

* Network Building - created European Network of Credit Unions in Brussels, International Credit Union Regulators’ Network, and WOCCU Young Credit Union Professional Program (WYCUP).* Advocacy/Policy - Principal credit union representative before Basel Committee, G20 Finance Ministries, European Union and Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC). Authored and delivered testimonies before the US House and Senate, and US / Canadian Accounting Standards Boards and Basel Committee. *Management Results - Developed the sales strategy to grow WOCCU's foundation from $.4 million to $2.3 million in contributions. Led a global conference from losses, through re-branding, to consistent strong positive net income averaging +$400,000/year.* Consulting - Assignments for the World Bank, International Monetary Fund, National Treasury of South Africa, and credit unions in North America and Eastern Europe.* Strategy - As a member of the executive management team, provided direction to WOCCU’s overall strategies and activities. Provided strategic direction for WOCCU’s Association Services, Foundation, European Network of Credit Unions and Credit Union Regulator Network.* Public Speaking & Media Relations – Delivered over 125 conference presentations and consistently rated in the top 10%, interview by numerous print, on-line, radio and TV journalists.

* Policy Research - Advised President of the Bank and Chairman of the Financial Services Policy Committee. * Operations Experience - Managed a staff of 65 employees and oversaw a $3.5 million business unit and budget. Responsible for payments clearing and processing. * Management Development - Part of the management development program.
