As the Founder and Director of The Great Friendship Project, I lead a passionate team dedicated to combating loneliness among young adults, following the COVID-19 pandemic. Since our inception in 2021, we've cultivated a vibrant community of over 35,000 individuals, fostering meaningful connections and lifelong friendships through our regular events and community building initiatives.Our mission goes beyond mere social gatherings; we're committed to driving awareness and advocating for policy change to tackle the stigma of loneliness.With the support of dedicated partners, trustees, and volunteers, we're actively working to transform societal perceptions of loneliness and ensure that no young adult feels alone in feeling lonely.And today, we work tirelessly to be a voice for young adults, bring an end to the loneliness epidemic and create a more socially connected future for young people.
