As President of The Guild of Automotive Restorers, David oversees daily production and is deeply involved in decision making in regards special projects. See an interview with Jay Leno at Leno's Garage videos under Aerolithe Bugatti.David is also involved in the series for Discovery Velocity and National Geographic (series premiered in Canada on the History Channel) that follows many of his activities. He is now involved shooting the third season of Restoration Garage for Discovery.He is also working with a major UK based production company to create a six part mini series about Bugattis.Also developing with the same producers a series about an abandoned Japanese WW2 facility int the South Pacific and the treasure trove of abandoned equipment, weapons and aircraft found there. The series will cover the discovery, recovery and restoration of various artifacts.His company The Guild completed the Bugatti Aerolithe Project which won International Historical Car of the Year in 2013 and the 1947 Monte Carlo Concours winning 6C 2500 Alfa Romeo Roadster by Pinin Farina. That car won most elegant interior at Villa d'Estes at Lake Como on Italy. Currently David is involved in restoring about forty different cars among which are a Jaguar prototype and a Ferrari GT 250 California Spyder. David is also deeply involved in antique and classic aircraft and has in his hangar a wonderful Waco YOC deluxe Cabin, an aircraft that was the executive jet of 1935, a 1942 Myers OTW and a 1936 Corben Super Ace pylon racer. .David lives in the hill country north west of Toronto and has seven horses, three donkeys, a mule and five dogs.He shares his life with his wonderful wife Janice Stone who is also co founder of the Guild of Automotive Restorers and another principle character on their hit TV series.
