As part of the UPS Healthcare Customer Solutions under the Supply Chain Solutions group, as a Solutions Development Manager (SDM), the consulting role includes engaging directly with customers to develop solutions and improve four keys areas of their total supply chain: 1) network optimization (optimizing costs for process flows), 2) engineering assessments (capacity and inventory analysis are warehouses & DCs, productivity assessments of warehouse & field personnel), 3) sustainability work (reducing carbon footprint, optimizing packaging including cold chain) and 4) technology & visibility (end-to-end tracking tools, cloud based reporting and data analytics for managing big data).
