David starts off the new year in 2021 in a new role in Scottsdale AZ where his primary responsibilities will be developing and building a custom home and working diligently to get his golf handicap down. While some may call this an early retirement, This upcoming year will be a welcome sabbatical after spending almost 40 years in the heavy construction industry - the last 26 years with Sukut Construction.May be open to new opportunities in the Development and Construction industry later in 2021...Results oriented and project focused, Mr. Grattan has more than 39 years of successful construction and development experience. His expertise and background includes program and project management for variety of complex construction projects, in a number of sectors, including: Real Estate Development; Heavy Civil Construction; Mass Earthmoving; Environmental Construction; Alternative Energy (Solar & Wind); Earth fill Dams; Roadways, and Public Infrastructure. His unique construction background coupled with a natural entrepreneurial spirit have helped David to create numerous partnering opportunities in both the Public and Private sectors.Mr. Grattan holds a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from UC Irvine (1984) and a Master's Degree in Business from the Paul Merage School of Business (1988). He also enjoys Golf, Hiking and Traveling and is active in a number of charitable organizations including The Free Wheelchair Mission.
