APOET (L) In The Royal Naval Submarine Service that has worked many different roles within the Marine Engineering Branch. Primarily Electrical sections working on power generation systems, and electrical equipment fed downstream of this including Motors, pumps, circuit breakers, lighting and more.As member of the Fwd Engineering section I am currently working with Electrical systems but also domestic systems such as water, sewage and hydraulics including hydraulically opperated control surfaces. A large amount of my sections responsibility also lies in life support systems such as HV Electrolysis equipment, CO2 Removal Plants as well as CO/H2 Burners.Work in these sections included operation and control of the mentioned equipment along with any planned maintenance and any fault finding and defect rectification.
