-Identified, produced and purified novel, monoclonal antibodies via hybridoma culture and flow cytometry for the isolation and characterization of microglia and monocytes in different states.-Isolated and sorted peripheral blood monocytes from participants in a longitudinal study designed to characterize blood markers in ALS patients.Isolation, primary culture and treatment of microglia and monocytes from various transgenic mice, attempting to shed light on pathways involved in amylotrophic lateral sclerosis, multiple sclerosis and Alzheimer’s Disease.-Managed a large colony of laboratory mice of 30+ strains including models for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, Multiple Sclerosis and Alzheimer’s disease. Responsible for ordering, husbandry, genotyping, treatment, tissue extraction, etc.
