Profile bio

About David Greentree

My 50 year journey: 1971: I took responsibility for the productivity and quality of work in my local area of influence. What resulted through collaboration with construction teams was the development and implementation of new construction techniques. These activities were the gestation of the performance skills mindset and the beginning of establishing performance evidence and formally recognising the job performance of every team member.1980: My efforts were recognised; I was selected along with a Senior Manager of the Organisation to work on a project for the King of Thailand to write a manual covering “Constructiing Farm Dams in Thailand”. 1985: After fifteen years of researching and implementing new standards of work I was involved in a project that produced learning resource materials. The cost of the project was $500,000 and the outcome was 21,000 manuals packaged in 1,000 box sets containing 21 manuals in each set. 1990: I was seconded to NSW TAFE to facilitate a CBT Curriculum project. The outcomes were the largest CBT curriculum program to be accredited in NSW at one time 1995: About this time the announcement of the change to the Vocational Education and Training System was promoted. My efforts were directed towards the industry sectors and the network of people who were putting their hand up to represent their industry. I was seeking formal endorsement for our industry competency standards and qualifications that connected with our work that had preceded the new model. 2000: I was selected to be a Board Director, Agrifood Industry Skills Council (AFISC). I resigned to focus on new projects that delivered improved workplace outcomes for a broader industry alliance. 2003: I was involved in an innovative project to digitise the implementation of the organisations industrial instrument processes. About the same time I developed a Job Grading System to enable a consent award to be delivered. 2006: I was approached by AFISC to work as a consultant to “fix up” their training packages. Four years later I came to the realisation that the only way to make business improvements and support the Australian workforces was to shift the focus from VET solutions to one that was workplace led. 2010: At this time my Co-Founder Ian Cox and I had created a business model that was designed to empower business improvement through a bottom up worker led digital framework that formed the basis of our new company. 2023: we finalised our global leading, Integrated Quality 4.0 Integrated Safety, Quality and Qualification (ISQ2) Framework.

Listed skills include Management, Training, Change Management, Organizational Development, and 18 others.

Manager Training Product Development And Implementation

After 35 years working for the same employer working on massively diverse projects and programs, I resigned my position because I felt I had exhausted my opportunities to learn and apply my skills in new ventures that would benefit others. I was approached by AFISC to work as a consultant to “fix up” their training packages. Yes, although Training Packages had not been in existence very long they were already showing the inability to meet industry needs. Obviously, I took up the challenge and after nearly 4 years working towards making improvements that were designed to make improvements for all stakeholders I finished up with AFISC. I came to the realisation that the only way to make business improvements and support the Australian workforces was to shift the focus from VET solutions to one that was workplace led.
