After completing school in Orange, NSW, David completed a BMus(MusEd) at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, studying trumpet under Paul Goodchild. David later completed a Masters in Music Technology (Merit) through the University of Newcastle, his Orff Schulwerk Level 4 certificate through the NSW Orff Schulwerk Association, and an AMusA in Musicianship. Since graduating David has worked at Rosebank College, Five Dock, and St Catherine's School, Waverley, where is currently Director of Music. During his time at St Catherine's he has expanded the instrumental program, directed school musicals and led tours of Europe. He has also adjudicated the Sydney Eisteddfod, Yamaha Band Festival, tutored a various music camps and taught private trumpet students.David currently plays with the Willoughby Symphony Orchestra. He has previously been a member of the Sydney Wind Symphony, SBS Youth Orchestra, and the Holroyd Brass Band.David is a past-president of ABODA NSW
