• Due to secondment of the postholder in September 2014 I was asked to take on the role of Principal Engineer for the Bridges Maintenance Team• As Programme Manager plan, direct and co-ordinate activities of multiple projects for the £1m Bridges Structural Reactive Maintenance Programme• Work closely with the Asset Team to review PBI and GI reports to enable cost effective prioritisation of bridge works• Lead a team of 3 Engineers delivering planned and unplanned bridge works within the programme• Control the Budget• Develop and establish new business processes using the Cora Project and Programme Management System (PPMS)• Integrate the PPMS system with the new Highways Asset Management System (HAMS)• Following 2015 Boxing Day Floods manage delivery of 60 additional repair and prevention bridge schemes with a value of £2m. • Work closely with LCCs in house Contractors to co-ordinate and deliver schemes • Completed delivery of Centenary Way Viaduct scheme (see below) within budget
