Appointed as Morse Project Manager on a project at a major central bank. Specific area’s that I was asked to focus on were, to improve the client relationship, foster a team spirit between Morse & clent project team members, and revising the go live approach to split the implementation in line with the clients requirements. The 1st drop of functionality went live in Apr 2008, a 2nd drop in July 2008, and the remainder in September 2008 onwards. The reaction of the client management to the successful implementation of the 1st drop was extremely positive and contributed towards the client entering into a long term support arrangement with Morse. The scope of the overall Phase 1 solution includes the ECC SAP modules MM/WM, SD, QM, FI and a bespoke solution re processing Used Notes. In addition to ECC SAP – BI has been extensively used for reporting and for Demand Planning. Communication between SAP ECC and banking systems such as RTGS and Globus have been via SAP XI..

Lead FI/CO consultant on numerous SAP implementations ranging from upgrade projects to full project life cycle implementations. Sub modules covered were General Ledger, Accounts Receivable & Payable, Fixed Assets, Cost & Profit Centre management , Internal Orders, Profitability Analysis and Product Costing. Experienced in the integration between the finance modules and Logistics SD & MM and also data migration and cutover.

Involved in the full project cycle in the management of the implementation of SAP financial modules for the UK exploration companies. Areas of SAP implemented were: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cost Centres, Internal Orders, Projects, and Purchasing. Duties included liaison with line management to establish requirements and priorities, identifying required changes to business processes to ensure SAP fit and utilisation of available functionality, maintaining and monitoring project plan, management of core project team and identifying and obtaining other non-core project team members.
