Senior Vice President - Data Strategy Leader For Regulatory Reporting
CurrentResponsible for setting enterprise level data strategy for a holistic approach to address regulatory reporting needs across all lines of business. Transform the enterprise approach to fulfill regulatory obligations from a reactive, federated model to a centralized model. Scale this strategy to identify economies of scale for approximately 2000+ reports, resulting in approximately 3,500 regulatory submissions on an annual basis. Reduce risks of inconsistency associated with distributed processes and data sourcing. Improve efficiency by reducing duplicative operations, technology, and data management processes.Lead an international team of data analysts and consultants responsible for identifying data commonalities between regulatory reports across multiple, worldwide jurisdictions and regulatory agencies. Document these commonalities as a regulatory data dictionary which builds a common LOB and technology agnostic taxonomy.Partner with operations to identify and deliver technological capabilities supporting the creation, review, and analysis of regulatory reports as part of day to day regulatory submission. Improve the efficiency of the operational process by presenting the information necessary for operations to make objective, data-driven decisions on the quality and sufficiency of the reports to be submitted. Provide lineage, traceability, data quality, and operational metrics in a single interface to the user. Persist all metadata associated with each submission in a systematically auditable manner enabling low human-touch responses to compliance and regulatory inquiries.
