Responsible for the global Nutrition Product Development strategy and scientific credibility efforts in support of the Nutrilite™ brand. Prioritized and resourced over 40 global projects in support of $4.2B in sales in 2018 while meeting all market launch KPI’s for On-time/cost/profile. Developed and managed annual budget of $19M, across 3 departments in 2 states (CA & MI), for a total of 91 FTE’s. Responsible for the Analytical Sciences organization located in Ada, Michigan. Analytical Sciences provides cutting edge product and raw material analysis and testing capabilities including Bioassay, Microbiology, Chromatography, CSI Forensics, and Stability. These capabilities ensure that all NutriliteTM products contain the best of Nature and the Best of Science.

Created and implemented Open Innovation discovery process and governance structure to feed stage gate product development process resulting in over $700 million in new revenue over an 8-year period. Identified and developed key industry and academic relationships resulting in the successful tech transfer and commercialization of 3rd party IP in support of Amway’s Artistry™ and Nutrilite™ product lines.
