About David Grundy
An experienced executive (MD, EVP level) who is comfortable working with both start-ups and large enterprises alike. At the core I have an underlying passion for technology as a business enabler, and thrive in both the commercial and the social opportunities that can be achieved utilising technology. After selling my first company I made a career out of Interim Executive management roles with a focus on delivering large scale digital transformational programmes of work ($10m /$100m). More recently i decided to take a break from executive management to refocus my efforts back within technology innovation. This change led to me holding an Interim CIO role within the Science and Innovation function at a major European Bank. Since moving to Copenhagen for family reasons I was offered the chance to focus my efforts on blockchain/DLT and crypto currencies, whilst also continuing to expand my knowledge and interest in the wider innovation ecosystem (IOT, ML, AI, Quantum computing). Still having a soft spot for entrepreneurship in general, I still like to provide advice to start- up and growth companies on an advisory basis when the opportunity and time allows :-)
