 Position is responsible for “first experiences” for the client to Fifth Third Bank. Project planning and management of ERISA and Non-ERISA plans. Create and deliver required Department of Labor notices to clients. Create and deliver account opening documentation to clients.  Work with client current record keeper to establish timelines and to get other information on the plan. Provide consultative approach to plan setup and design. Analyze financials on final records. Work with legal, risk, compliance and product to develop new processes/procedures that will increase efficiency, mitigate risk and increase revenue. Learn and mentor other team members on the Empower and Fifth Third Teams.

 Provided Non-recordkeeping transactional support for daily balance and balance forward plans Supervised a team of 10 employee’s Provided support for Retirement Plan Services account as well as Global Custody relationships

 Act as a primary contact to Plan Sponsor for daily questions and activity on Defined Contribution Plans, resolve urgent client issues, limit risk to the bank, reconcile accounts.  Help train new Plan Specialist, interact with other departments to accomplish tasks, identify process enhancements, retain business, some sales, team lead of 4-5 employees with day to day activities.

 Utilize and maintain custom reporting for daily activities.  Centralize the Balance Forward process between new provider and Fifth Third Bank.  Process complex money movements between several accounts on a daily basis.  Work with MS products (Excel, Word, Access). Act as a primary contact for questions in our Defined Benefit plans.
