 Manager for all fund accounting activities for over 600 Funds. Funds consists of Mutual Funds, GIA (Guaranteed Investment Accounts) and Fund of Funds. Group consists of 6 fund accountants with a total net asset value of over 4 billion dollars. Reconciled cash and trades each day, researched and resolved cash and asset exceptions, as well as income discrepancies and management of daily operations to ensure accurate NAVS.  Responsible for ensuring settlement of over 800 daily trades Ensure compliance with divisional procedures and policies as they relate to core operating standards and reporting in addition to monitoring and managing operations in support of client deliverables Proficient in elevating and resolving trade settlement issues with appropriate parties. Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint) Received “Star Award” for recognition of hard work.

 Reconciled the fund accountants daily work, researched and resolved any cash or asset related variances between accounting and custody, as well as any variances between IBT and the Investment Managers. Learned the proper channels of elevation and attended daily Risk Reporting meetings to explain Risk variances and provide status updates. Processed and reviewed monthly AdHoc reports. Processed Swaps, Futures and Corporate Actions. Successfully completed two conversions from IBT to State Street.

 Processed and reported cash to Investment Managers, and processed trade activity and concluded with calculating NAV for Mutual Funds. Involved with customer service in an account controller role by fielding and answering multiple daily inquiries from various Investment Managers.
