New Helvetia Brewing offers a diverse lineup of craft beer, including the historic Buffalo Beer, a pre-prohibition style lager. Through years of networking and relationship building among our physician friends and colleagues in the Sacramento area, one consistently expressed concern I hear is that they cannot find real estate professionals who specifically serve their needs. As a licensed real estate broker with a Master's in Real Estate Development, and with an existing network of physicians and medical professionals, I knew I was uniquely positioned to fill this role. MDRE-Advisors is an acronym that means Medical Doctor Real Estate…brilliant! Ok, it’s a bit obvious, but not without irony because my wife is a D.O., not an M.D. And with that, MDRE-Advisors was born.

Urban People Real Estate Development lives by our motto, “making space on the grid.” As a boutique, Sacramento-focused development company, our primary reason for existence is to create unique and memorable urban places for people. Hence the company name, “Urban People”. The urban environment is a phenomenon born entirely on human beings’ need to congregate, construct shelter, participate in a marketplace, and stimulate our mind, body and soul. Urban People is a small company, and as we are just beginning this journey, we will do small projects in Sacramento’s urban core and inner-ring neighborhoods. Our projects will target “infill” areas that are on the grid or near public transportation, and sites that are vacant or under-utilized. We will find opportunities in office, retail and multifamily residential properties.
